A not so good day

Today has not been so good. It started of with a butt load of snow. We got 14" of snow overnight. So I force myself to get motivated to go out and fire up the snowblower. Then I get up to the end of the driveway, and it sucked up a piece of carpeting that someone had lost off of the back of their truck or trailer. So I pushed it all the way back to the house and put it in the garage so the carpeting would thaw out some so I could cut it out of my snowblower. Now wouldn't you know, my snowblower won't start back up. And on top of all of that, my water lines have froze, so the kids and I have no water.

I'm trying not to allow any of this to get me down. But when you look at the big picture, that's rather difficult not to do. And it's not like I have a husband or boyfriend that I can turn to in these times either. Boy, when I look at it from that perspective, things look rather bleak.
